Who needs PAT testing?
It’s recommended that landlords providing any electrical appliances within the property they are leasing have a PAT test – most councils in London now require this for a licence application.
Who should do the work?
As always, only registered electrical professionals with the knowledge, skill and experience should carry out these tests to ensure safety for themselves and others.
What will I receive?
Upon completion you should receive a report which details the following:
– A certificate containing each of the appliances tested and with the results of each.
– A list of any failed items with and explanation of their failure.
– A visible pass or fail label on each appliance including inspection date, next test due and inspectors signature.
